How to Measure

Step 1

Simply get your cloth measuring tape and place it around your head over your occipital bone (the furthest part on the back of your head).

Step 2

Bring the measure around to the front of your head. About 5 mm above your ears and position it in the centre of your forehead, or just above the eyebrows (depending on where you want your hat to sit).

Step 3

Check what size your measuring tape says. Make sure when measuring the tape is not too loose or too tight. If in between sizes, we recommend going up in size. E.g if you measure 58 cm and there is no 58 cm in the style you are after, we recommend going up to size 59 cm. We also recommend adding a hat filler to your order if you are in between sizes as these can tailor the hat to fit your head perfectly.

2. HALO STYLING

How to Measure

This is the “halo” style of wearing a hat. Choose this option if this is the way you will choose to wear your hat.

Quick Tips

There is no such thing as an overall correct fit. You must ensure your hat fits the way YOU want it to. It is entirely a matter of personal preference and whatever feels right to you. A tighter fitting hat stays on better for people who are active – think a festival or day at the beach, your hat will also sit higher on your head. A looser fitting hat is more comfortable to wear for extended periods of time (4+ hours) and will sit lower on your head.

This is one of my favourite shops on the Danforth. I'm glad everything is still online because I just bought a purse from them for the first time this way. From experience, I know I'll be happy when it arrives. I've spent years loving the jewelry I bought from here, it's all so finely made without being gaudy and so so pretty. And the workers there are so sweet and friendly, I think that's actually what I miss most from my experience in walk-in shopping here. The camaraderie with the shop owners, talking to them about our day to day lives. I highly recommend shopping here and when things open up again I know I'll be visiting them first thing on the Danforth!

Really wonderful store to work with. I was unsure how quickly my order would arrive so I spoke to them prior to ordering. I had a follow up question I asked when placing my order and they emailed me almost immediately to answer. Very disappointed and mislead. Im a long time resident of the area and have shopped here before. I went in one day and asked where the gemstones were as they appeared online, the owner didn't help much and didn't tell me any answers. As I left the store I noticed Gemstones&Co. is upstairs and carried all the pieces I was asking her about. They had mentioned they used to have their products in shop downstairs however they've since taken them back. I was confused as there were pictures of Gemstones&Co's products on this store's google pictures.
